UL listing for firefighting, ISO 9001 for systematic quality, CPA approval for local compliance — backed by mechanical, dimensional and chemical testing on every heat number.
UL Listed
Metallic sprinkler pipe certified under UL 852 (Edition 2). Independently evaluated for firefighting system compliance.
ISO 9001:2015
Quality management system accredited by DQS GmbH (Germany) covering manufacturing of ERW pipes and complete piping systems.
Civil Protection
Civil Protection Authority approval for local firefighting and life-safety specifications across Egyptian projects.
ASTM A53 / EN 10255
Manufacturing conforms to ASTM A53 Grade A and B and EN 10255 Type L & L1 mechanical and chemical requirements.
Three tests, zero compromise.
Each heat number is sampled and subjected to the destructive mechanical tests required by ASTM A53 and EN 10255. Pipe is released only after every sample passes.
Flattening
A pipe section is flattened between parallel plates to a defined gap. Verifies ductility and weld integrity.
Bending
Pipe is bent around a defined mandrel radius without filler. Confirms formability and weld bond.
Expanding
A tapered mandrel expands the pipe end by a specified percentage. Tests the longitudinal weld under hoop stress.
Measured, not assumed.
Every pipe length is verified against the standard's tolerance band before bundling. Out-of-tolerance pipe never leaves the mill.
Outside diameter
Verified at multiple points along each length against the standard's OD tolerance band.
Wall thickness
Measured ultrasonically and by direct gauge to confirm schedule compliance across the section.
Straightness
Bow tolerance checked after the straightener cassette before pipes are released to bundling.
Weld consistency
100% in-line eddy current plus visual inspection of the seam after flash removal.
Independently verified.
Mechanical and chemical sample results are independently verified through accredited university and third-party laboratories. Reports are filed against the heat number and made available with the mill test certificate.
- Tensile strength & yield to ASTM A370
- Chemical composition by spectrometry
- Flattening, bending and expanding test reports
- Hydrostatic test record per pipe length
- Third-party witnessing welcomed at any process stage
Chemical composition (typical)

| Carbon (C) | 0.30 | 0.18 – 0.22 |
| Manganese (Mn) | 1.20 | 0.60 – 0.90 |
| Phosphorus (P) | 0.05 | ≤ 0.025 |
| Sulfur (S) | 0.045 | ≤ 0.020 |
| Copper (Cu) | 0.40 | ≤ 0.20 |
